Expert Witnesses
Robert Allen is a consultant chartered
occupational psychologist and is experienced in providing expert assessment,
reports and testimony for judicial proceedings.
He specialises in the methodology of selection and recruitment
including discrimination and bias in selection procedures; the assessment of
stress, harassment and violent behaviour in the work place; the assessment of
the results of personal injury/stress on future working ability.
He is experienced in;
the assessment of personality and personality disorders, depression, anxiety
and stress; assessment of aggressive behaviour and risk assessments for
contact/access proceedings. He is particularly interested in the assessment and
risk analysis of the perpetrators and victims of domestic violence.
Robert is fully
qualified to carry out all psychometric tests and other relevant tests where
appropriate. He is trained and experienced in the use of structured cognitive
interviewing.
He has an in depth
knowledge and understanding of aggressive behaviour, both in the workplace and
in the family. With over thirty years experience of police work he has dealt
with many cases of violence and has seen the effects of domestic violence at
first hand. His past involvement gives him a unique insight into risk
assessment coupled with an ability to understand the requirements of both
courts and solicitors.
